View Full Version : so you want to learn a foreign language
sure, I'd love to
but the 8 mexicans I work with refuse to teach me shit and it's only gettign more frustrating
the language barrier keeps getting taller...mostly because it's covered with multi-lingual signs

enseņe a me tu lengua o todos pueden buscar por trabajo nuevo.
that's all you have to say.
then again, if you fire them all you have to do their work until you find replacements who also probably won't teach you their language.
tell them you're no pinche guerro. pronounced "where-o".

I remember a radio commercial for a "Learn to speak Spanish" audio program. It went something like this:
:)....."What's that on your foot?"
:ugh:....."My shoe."
:)....."What's on your foot under your shoe?"
:ugh:....."My sock."
:)....."Spell sock."
:ugh:....."S-0-C-K-S"
:)....."That's what it is. You just spoke in Spanish!"
:ugh:....."Huh?"
;)....."Es o si que es! That's Spanish for 'Thats what it is' !!!"
:ugh2:....."Es o si que es spells SOCK. That's what it is! Spanish is easy!"
Maybe this is the program for you, MAC.

Sesame Street isn't in Spanish anymore?
Hmm, or you can try watching Dora the Explorer. That's how Maddy has learned Spanish. :D
TV?
it has some educational angle now?

I was thinking of learning to speak Canadian. But, with all their extra U's and all that 'eh' shit, I gave up. Nothing made any sense. I'm studying Russian instead. Much easier.
