In honor of Mother's Day.. I got the best gift this year ... it got here a little bit before Mother's day... but that's ok..
I don't think anyone has seen her since MUdflap posted horrific pictures of me right after labor.... *grrrrrrrrrr*
We are very proud of her and I wanted to share a recent picture of her taken on Mother's day!!!

Now that's an achievement! Congratulations.
That baby is so good looking it could be mine! Ha ha.
Seriously. Congrats. Mrs. Bothersom is at 8 wks today. We're going in for the ultrasound/limb count tomorrow afternoon. We had two miscarriages in the last year at 6 weeks and 12 weeks. Hopefully I'll be posting a pic like that early next year. Three times is a charm as they say.

Congrats BBS. I sincerely hope your wife's pregnancy goes full term with zero complications. I also hope your kid mostly resembles the better looking of you and your wife. I'm presuming that would be your wife.
Once the kid arrives, we'll have the proper initiation ceremony and Torque will teach you the secret handshake.
One more thing...that baby WILL make your heart melt. You can't prepare yourself for it. Tell me I was right next year.
Feel free (i.e. -- "obligated") to update us after the ultrasound.

Just dont forget that babies are 95 percent annoying until they can eat chicken fingers off a plate. Then they become 95 percent cool.
Good luck with your wife's pregnancy, BB. Fatherhood is rewarding. After the self feeding age that is. Before that, it's all about taking care of mom, so she can take care of the baby. You can snag the baby when it's all happy and smiley though.
Congrats on your wife's pregnancy BBS.
I agree with Mud, that baby will change your whole world. You will love it more then you ever thought possible.

I got my daughter's ears peirced at 8 months. I don't regret it because now when all the other 5 year olds want theres peirced but are afaid it would hurt, mine is already done. She is use to them, doesn't pick at them so no infections.

I actually have a 17 year-old step daughter. She's off to college in 2005, so rather than start enjoying ourselves, my 41 year old wife and I decided we would just do it all over again. So, we fired up her old eggs and here we are. We are very sensible, intelligent people as you can see.
BBS will this baby be "your" first child?
I know you can love a step child like your own, but until you have your own child you won't actually know how much love you can really have for one human being.

I hav a great relationship with my daughter (step) and yet never having had kids of my own, it would be nice to see how beautiful a baby my sexy wife and my sexy self could make. :cool:

Put pillows around the bed in places where she might bonk her noggin, lay back, lift her up and say "SUPERBABY!!!"
I'll clean my guns in preparation for her first date. A month's notice should do it.

That is honestly the cutest little bub I've seen in a long time (and I never lie about ugly babies, I just remain silent :))
I'm glad you went for 'mini mud' and not 'psycho flap' or 'mud bitch' though - that had been troubling me for some time :p

I was discussing munchkins with mud and torque in chat last night, now I'm all clucky. I blame YOU! I want fat little cute babies to cuddle. Tarryn's all stringy and only cute in the smelly little boy who thinks farts are fun sense. :( I still love my little goblin. Maybe I can shrink him?

Perhaps 30 or 40 pounds of that diaper was hindering the toe-eating. I can't wait to see that baby in person. Hopefully before she graduates highschool.

Cruise is right. When the diaper comes off for changing, the toes go for the mouth.
and that was a dry diaper.. just looks big the way she was laying.. but i wasn't going to post the nude picture of her doing that.
A certain little girl will be 6 months old tomorrow..... WOW..
she now has 2 teeth, has said "momma" atleast 4 times that we know of, and just adores her daddy.....

We are now at 5 months of pregnancy and doing great. We just found out it's a boy. Time to buy a mask and snorkel for diaper changes.
So, I now have a step daughter heading off to LSU next year, and a baby on the way. I'm insane. I must be insane. :)
