Ever get the feeling that people live their lives like they’re waiting on the sequel?

Their job, pet, lover and car are all part of this point in time.
Lasting only for this story line.
They’re the lead actor/actress shining through in the face of turmoil.
Over coming the odds.
Surviving the crisis.
Beating the bad guy.
And when this is over they’ll anxiously await the next one
Even if they have to create it.

Live, enjoy, boogie till ya puke and enjoy some more.

Then after finding the ideal woman/man who stands the test of time breed.

The offspring you create are the sequel, your life part II. (In a way)

If the cycle repeats you can even get a part III.

That is very Zen of you.

Thought provoking, MAC.

Why are we never satisfied, always searching for more.

I think it is a basic human need to explore, to push the boundaries of what we know.

Excellent topic MAC. Tosses MAC a fortune cookie. What is inside depends on you. Floating above ground in a lotus position.

Woof.
If it's so sick, why are you laughing?

hmmmmm....
I'm going to have to think about this one a little bit.... But i agree that our children are our life II . I guess it is one of those things like, no matter how happy you are, why do we search for more! Always pushing the envelope???? I don't get it either...

Why do we love the one that hurts us? And hurt the one that loves us?

MMMmmmm good fortune cookie
Everything tastes better now that I'm ZEN

But, uhhh...

I think I've miscommunicated.

I meant, that there is a type of person who constantly causes 90% of the problems in their lives on purpose.
They create havoc for themselves.
They crave the drama as a way of feeling they have suffered through and accomplished something.

In fact this is the prefered method of living now by many. Why buy accomplishments when you can lease anxiety. Make payments on hardship till you need some new ones that match your interior.

See?

Note:
Most people go through a stage like this.
However once you become aware of your part in it you stop out of shame or ambition.

Anyway, the direction it went is okay, too.
To quote Gov'nr Jesse Ventura "Judge me by my children."
I'd like to here any other politician say that.

Yup, its like road rage. I never get road rage. The only person that is responsible for your anger and stress is you. If anyone doesn't understand and wishes for me to elaborate, gimme a shout.
