I haven't been able to get a dialtone since Tuesday, yet I'm here.

Someone explain this to me. I'm boggled.

Apparently it doesn't require a dialtone to function. What boggles me is that it operates over my existing phone line and my phone is out of service; will be until Saturday at best (storms).

My phone is out but DSL still works?!

Still baffled.
