That's no vacation!

We need some help from Cole Porter and Roy Rogers:

"Oh, give me land, lots of land under starry skies above, Don't fence me in
Let me ride through the wide open country that I love, Don't fence me in
Let me be by myself in the evenin' breeze
And listen to the murmur of the cottonwood trees
Send me off forever but I ask you please, Don't fence me in

Just turn me loose, let me straddle my old saddle
Underneath the western skies
On my Cayuse, let me wander over yonder
Till I see the mountains rise

I want to ride to the ridge where the west commences
And gaze at the moon till I lose my senses
And I can't look at hovels and I can't stand fences
Don't fence me in

Oh, give me land, lots of land under starry skies, Don't fence me in
Let me ride through the wide open country that I love, Don't fence me in
Let me be by myself in the evenin' breeze
And listen to the murmur of the cottonwood trees
Send me off forever but I ask you please, Don't fence me in

Just turn me loose, let me straddle my old saddle
Underneath the western skies
On my Cayuse, let me wander over yonder
Till I see the mountains rise

I want to ride to the ridge where the west commences
And gaze at the moon till I lose my senses
And I can't look at hovels and I can't stand fences
Don't fence me in, no
Pop, oh don't you fence me in"

now that's a vacation!

Vacations.....*sigh*
I'm just finishing mine up. I'd like to tell you that it was a good vacation. I have to go back to work to get some REST.
I spent 4 days in San Diego for a wedding.
Visual: 15th floor overlooking Mission Bay. Jimmy Buffett in the stereo. Cold Corona's spilling over the to of the tub. (We showered in one room and kept the party in the other room.) 78 degrees and SUNNY.
Next I headed for Southern Utah for 3 days. 90 degrees and SUNNY. Went hiking, fishing and over the border for some gambling.

What a week. I can't wait for the next one.
