I think it was Kol who first brought this to my attention, the project that is Seti@home. I just grabbed the screensaver app, which is cool, BTW, and will be running it on my machine 24/7, reliability of said machine allowing of course. I also recall there being mention of a group for THT being formed. I did a search on the seti page for a group called Hypertribe, and found that none existed. I cant remeber how enthused we all were about this, so this is just a refresher thread about the saem topic. Also, we have at least a handful of active new members who may not have seen the old thread on this topic. Pipe up tribals... worth our time, or just bullshit? Also of note, there are similar apps for helping with AIDS and cancer reasearch. Which do you think is more important of the 3?

OK, my bad RW.... sory about that. And thanks for bringing the old thread out for some fresh air. I didnt even bother too look for it because I get this weird glitch sometimes that doesnt alow me to see threads that I know are still there.

suffice to say that I joined Team Asylum, and I encourage others who are interested in this type of thing to do so as well.
