We at Warren Engines Inc. Clinton NC are in desperate need of an auto technician.

ASE certification is NOT a requirement. I’ve had to show too many of these “fresh out of school” fruits how to use a broom.

Some experience is necessary, the more the better. Experience doesn’t have to be in the performance category, general automotive knowledge is well enough. Everything else can be taught to the teachable.

Must have own tools. I don’t mind you going in my box from time to time but it will not be your sole source. GET YOUR OWN!

If you are a moron, I don’t want to hear from you. We’ve got one of those already and is getting the boot. If you are unreliable, I don’t want to hear from you. We’ve got one of those already (same guy) and is getting the boot. If you’re as dumb as a as a box or rocks, I don’t want to hear from you. We’ve got one of those already (same guy) and he’s getting the boot. If you’ve worked at a dealership and were sent to school through it and still can’t fix a fucking thing without asking me or calling your buddy from down the street, I don’t want to hear from you. We’ve got one of those already (same guy) and he’s getting the boot. If you feel that you must bitch and complain about every little thing that bothers you, I don’t want to hear from you. We’ve got one of those already (same guy) and he’s getting the boot.

You will work along side me. At times, you will have to answer to me. I am easy going but have a low tolerance for stupidity. I’m very outspoken and will call BS in a heartbeat. I am argumentative by nature but rarely produce a futile one. If you feel the need to “take me out back” then we’ll go. I’ll shake your hand before and after, even if you’re lying on the ground afterwards.

Nice pay and benefits (vacation, holiday, 401k, uniforms, insurance, etc).

Any questions?

I have my own tools, well the common ones anyway. I can do breaks and oil like you wouldn't believe. I'm alot more interested in doing it than my knowledge portrays, and I spell horribly. I'm not strong enough to loosen most of the bolts, but I would look pretty damn good under the hood.

Know somewhere I could stay during the interview process?

Brake jobs and oil changes aren't that common but not uncommon all the same.

Breaking overly tight and/or rusted nuts and bolts loose is easily achieved with long breaker bars and the like. Sheer strength isn’t an issue.

And I don’t care how good you would look under the hood. I’d be more concerned about how you looked bent over the fender. Extra tight uniform pants for Venus.

I have two spare bedrooms and if you feel that you’d be lonely, you may snuggle with me. You can bring Matt and your daughter (Matt in one room, your daughter in the other) and you can still snuggle with me.

See, I’m a nice guy. :D

The position has been filled actually and thank goodness. I’ve been the only Tech in the shop all week. I’ve been busting my ass waaaaay to hard trying to keep up, we’re about a month behind, I’m tired, haven’t been sleeping well and doing all I can do. The only thing is, I already know the new guy isn’t going to look as appealing bent over those fenders as Venus would. :(

Well, maybe to P-dude but he’s a nancy boy anywayz.
