It ain't her birfday yet here in the central time zone, but I took her out for dinner tonight (one day early) on account of me starting 2nd shift tomorrow.

We went to eat at a Japanese steakhouse type place while MAC was held captive by the demon kid.

She would have enjoyed it more but she hurt something by doing one of those mommy sprints earlier today when she heard the demon kid screaming bloody murder outside. It was a false alarm. He was just screaming for the sake of screaming. He's fine. His mommy, however, is in pain and miserable. The steak, shrimp, and chicken were all very tastey and there's birfday CAKE in the kitchen.
