stamp price increase?

Ok, ok. I may be a little late with the news, considering I never watch it. But, what is with the stamp hike? Again? The postal service has a nifty little monopoly anyway, why the need to increase their profits even more? Some will say that the postal service loses millions of dollars a year. Frankly, I don't believe that. I may be wrong, but I don't think I am.

Aw, c'mon...all government services are simply funds that we pay into, nothing is free. We pay road taxes for roads, we pay water bills, we pay school taxes. Jeez, if they didn't hike the price of stamps to cover any losses they might have to divert funds from REALLY important government programs, like welfare, or the presidential election fund, or government-funded studies to see which ketchup pours the slowest. Come on, people, if we don't increase our payments to postal workers, how else will they be able to afford the QUALITY assault rifles? Think about it, this is NECESSARY!

All I know is that it's 33 cents for a god damned stamp! Just so I can mail off a bill that I'm paying more money so I have a service provided that should be free. Water. What the fuck is with charging people for water. There are oceans of it. Why the fuck do I have to pay for something that is natural and free?

This is the way I think of 'it' : Everyone wants money. Everyone that has lots of money wants more. People that don't have money want more. People do anything and everything to get money . Which inturn srews over the people that just want a girlfriend. Yes I want money , but shit.. I'd rather have a girlfriend to cuddle with . Even if I'm living in a shitty apartment making minimum wadge. I though 'happiness' was the goal for people? Maybe I'm old fashion or just ignorant. I don't know.

I fucking hate paying 33 cents to mail off a bill , that I have to pay for , that someone provides a service that should be free. And I pay for this with money that I make from working in which the Goverment and state takes a shit load of MY money-- Does that seem right?

I think the main reason for the price hike is because it is becoming more expensive to transport paper from one place to another. Fuel costs and all........ OPEC is still talking about rasing oil prices again........... I think we are way too dependant on the middle east for our oil. I say lets go to Alaska and crack the ground open.
