View Full Version : bread crisis 2003!!!
US breadmakers hold crisis talks over impact of Atkins diet
(http://news.independent.co.uk/world/americas/story.jsp?story=465405)
that's right, boys and girls
ppl pursueing healthy living have stopped eating buttloads of white bread (the most unhealthy health food ever)
obviously we need legislation to stop the madness before it spreads to things like canned vegetables and cigarettes
here's a scenario
you eat LESS bread so you eat BETTER bread
no shit
my ex mad eme quit drinking "so much" beer
so I drank better beer
I wonder if there's something to that?
oh well, fuck mrs bairds with a flaky apple pie an dpass th esteak sauce

The advertising for the whitebread industry needs to tug on our heartstrings:
*picture lil' Mac, sitting on the porch in his cut-off shorts, wearing tube socks with the stripes on them and a football jersey-type shirt. Mom is handing him a plate with Fritos and a PB&J with the crusts cut off. Made, of course, on good ol' Wonder bread with the crusts cut off.
*sniff*
I think I need to validate my childhood and go buy a loaf of refined / processed stuff.

THEY'LL NEVER GET MY BUNNY BREAD.......NEVAR!
*a shocked an appalled MAC yells at his computer monitor*
my mother NEVER served white bread!!!
she baked her own and it was goldenbrown and tasted to me then the way a good cigar tastes now
and when we DID have pre-sliced bread it DAMN SURE didn't have the crusts cut off
what kinda faggot cuts the crust off of bread?
we didn't have salty chips
we didn't have sugary cereals
we didn't have coke or koolaid(except at birthday partys)
we didn't eat candy
of course we also raised our own pigs, cows, and chickens....
and she often sent me to wandered the pastures for herbs.....
if there's a reason to NOT forget the 80's that's about it
heh
:)
oh yeah she smoked like a freight train and died at 40 something

Don't listen to Mac. It's a pre-engagement tactic. He's trying to throw you off your game by making you think that processed food is evil.
Follow your feelings, Cruise. You are Uncrustable (http://www.smuckers.com/fg/pds/default.asp?groupid=3&catid=46). You know it to be true.
Together we can rule the Hypertribe as Whitebread and Jam!

Chocke cherrys are a small berry grown around these parts. It has an almost bitter taste (it's not my favorite) but it makes a good jam. Homemade is good and I've never bought any at the store so I can't give a comparison.

I haven't had any kind of bread, white or otherwise since I was too young to remember. The shit's just nasty.

You are one weird puppy.
Kinda like a guy I use to work with that claimed he couldn't stand the taste of water. I told him pure water had no taste, he agreed and said that no taste was nasty.
mmmk.
