the president's speech to the National Endowment for Democracy 11-06-03 (http://www.whitehouse.gov/news/releases/2003/11/20031106-2.html)
there is so much I agree with in the text of this speech
forget who's saying it and all the bullshit party crap. toss out the hypocrisy and what we know about our many agencies and interests fucking with the dictatorships and democracys of the world in the last 100 years
I was impressed by the premis and the philosophy I heard in this speech (ignoring also the fact that this man is a terrible public speaker)
the only thing missing from this speech is the man in charge saying "we do this, this and this in direct violation of what I am telling you and we must stop."
then I consider that once again the powers-that-be have made a decision and signed my name to it
I wish I had a leader I could support to follow a course such as is laid out in this speech.
but I don't.
so I hope the ppl of the world secure their borders and their freedoms the way they want them because if not the dubya's will come to liberate you.
BTW: you may realise that this speech is basically a free political advertisement and that the "war on terror" is now officially being compared to the "cold war"
