If drinking beer gives you hiccups or indigestion try this......

Take a full half hour over your first beer, gentle sips, and I mean a full half hour.

After that your stomach will be acclimatised to the bubbles etc., and should handle any amount put you through it at any pace for the duration of the session.

<font color=pink>Its 7 am and I have just woken up to continute studying for my exam. I studied the entire day, I'm talking from 12:00 in the afternoon until 12:30 at night, taking a break only to eat and then to watch who won on survivor. My mind and body are exhausted to no ends and all I want to do is sleep. I'm having my tea, then I will get ready and study for another hour. Then I have to drive an hour to the stupid exam. Take the 3 hour exam, then drive home and start this process all over again. I have been studying, finishing essays, and assignments since the weekend before April 25th. I won't be done with this hectic scheduling until May 24th.

These two months seem that they will never end.

I need a martini or someone to do my exams.

Bah, I have no sympathy for any of you. Within the next 13 days I have to Determine the outcome of what the human rights commission would do if people were to start banning babies from cafes, assess the differences between statutory and common law definitions placed on the word 'consent' by New Zealand and Canadian legal systems, and critique a humean account of morality.

Sucks to be me. All of you out there getting trashed, have a few for me!!!

Sorry I din't respond to this thread last night but I was too busy getting drunk.

As for a day that makes you want to drink...

We bought a $12,000 knitting machine I spent 2 full days assembling it and bringing it up as it was cammed, to make sure it worked.
It worked but it gave me twice the density I needed.
So I spent two more days recamming it but I couldn't get it to run right, cause it was so filty and plugged up with cotton lint.
I had to tear it completely apart and clean it and rebuild all the knitting wheels.
After that it ran beautiful.
Except for a thread feed problem.
BTW the stuff I'm knitting (Kynar) costs $18.00/#.
I have to change the pulley ratio for the quality wheel.

Basically I have been standing at this machine for about 6 days and I'm fucking tired of it.
I can build a new machine in the time I've wasted at this one.

Oh yah, I have a job that requires about 100# of this material on this machine.
Its due next week and I haven't even started.
GGGRRRRR http://www.thehypertribe.net/ubb/mad.gif

I definately need a beer.

With unemployment running at an all time high in the States you lot are bowing down to the evils of liquor due to dropping a stitch or two on your sewing machines.

Shame on you all.

When are those Hypertribe scarves going to be ready Mac?

Hurray! I didn't kill the forum!

The beer, however, is one dead soldier. That one was for you, D. The rest...

Dagnammit! If I toast to everyone, I'll get trashed!

Screw it.
