average IQ?

I was just curious as to what the averge IQ score was for people in general, not just for people in THT. This isnt meant to make anyone feel stupid or anything so no one has to post their IQ if you know what it is. I just took a test at http://www.iqtest.com and got my results. Any know where to find this information?

edit: I took the damned thing again and actually put in my computational time as opposed to leaving it blank. last time, I did - test gave me the default 13 minutes instead of the 4 I actually took.

i would take the test but i do not agree with them. They produce decidely dodgy results. The tests themselves start from a particularly premis that is wholly unfair in that they assume you are capable of reading and numercay in a great proficiency. A dsylexic person would do poorly in them, does that mean they are stupid? Einstein was dyslexic and did'nt do any of his own maths, but no one would dare say he had a low IQ

Actually math wasn't his strongest subject, he even flunked elementary math while in school. He was also denied admittance into Eidgenössische Technische Hochschule(Swiss federal technical university I think...) in Zurich for failing the entrance exam.

He was more of a brilliant theorist of physics than a philosopher and not really a great mathematician. But, if you think about it, math isn't difficult; it's memorizing how to use the tools of math that is difficult. Hell, mathematics is another language in itself and without correct interpretation you'll run around in circles trying to explain how things work "in your head" and never get them out on paper. But you'll still know what makes your theory work without knowing how to explain it/having to verify it for others to see.

If you really want to bad-mouth him, go for the incest issue. He married his first cousin, Elsa Einstein-Löwenthal after divorcing his first wife in 1919. Ohhh how I can hear the banjo playing as I think about it.... I wonder if there are any good Einstein techno mp3's. heh
