the return of the nehru jacket

i'm serious. i saw it on a commercial for new fall clothes. embroidered suede nehru jacket with the big buttons.
i knew fall fashion was going to be different this year, but wow. if this can happen, anything is possible.

I think they should bring back the `80's. I swear I saw a kid in hammer pants the other day. They were neon orange with tiger stripes on them. I couldn't believe my eyes. And in a Victoria's Secret magizine, I saw a chick with her jeans tucked into....you ready for this? SLOUCH BOOTS! It was great. I can't wait to tease my hair as big as it'll go and wear my acid wash jeans with holes in the butt again!

hhmmm.. the 80's.
i miss the blazer and skinny tie. in the 80's anyone, male or female, could wear a blazer and skinny tie with anything from dress slacks to acid wash jeans with holes in the butt and look cool.
and i don't know if this was just a local thing, but we had this one period for a couple years when this brand of clothes came out that was like Garanimals for women. just cotten pants and skirts and coordinating shirts of different lengths. i forget what they were called. those were nice. it was like dressing for dummies.
