Aside from the fact that the parents of the 13-year-old should be punished as well, I think the young man is getting off lightly. If one of my children were to suffer a similar fate, I would kill first and face consequences later.

When is a man considered a man? In the 1800's something like this would be settled quickly. Today, we blame everything and everyone except the criminal.

"Innocent before proven guilty" proves that we've learned from our mistakes. "We the People" have twisted our freedom to such a point that we point fingers away from ourselves when we commit a crime and seek the media to substantiate our innocence.

I need to puke.

Hell... there is something desperately wrong with this world. That is so tragic. What kind of a gutless fuckstick beats an eight week old baby? I'm going to give my son a kiss on the cheek and make sure he is sleeping soundly, because all to soon he is going to start becoming aware of just how perverse reality is. Its really hard bringing up a child in a society like the one we are in at the moment, no matter what you say or do, other peoples actions are going to rape your child of his/her innocence regardless. It is all too common today to hear of this sort of thing, that it is almost the norm. Christ only knows how children are going to mentally develop thinking that.
