This past weekend has been a really good weekend in society's standards.

Last Friday I technically finished school. I'm pretty happy with what I've dont over the year. I've learnt a lot about animating, and the a litte but of what the business is like. I know that special effects in movies, like in Hulk for example, aren't done by one person, or a few even. A team bigger than my class works hard, probably even just the Hulk himself. Discluding explosions and other effects that cost too much money to create in real-life.

That was cool that I've finished school. But I can still continue on other projects I can think for another month. It was an odd combo that I technically finished school, and attended a high-school graduation ceremony for a friend. An eery reminder that I really don't miss it :)

I did some work, and got paid enough cash I could buy War Hammer (http://www.games-workshop.com/warhammerworld/warhammerworld.uk) minitures. It's a really fun game, and kinda proves the point of money buying you happiness. HUGE nerd game.

I bought my Skaven (army of rats) minitures Saturday morning. Went swimming at a cool spot called Big Head. There's a tiny 12 foot cliff to jump off of, and I've found it was a fun place to swim. It's a rocky shore that goes around a peninsula. It would be fun swimming around it (I did a share of it already). So I plan on having a little 'summer-fun' with some flippers and goggles. I'm a fucking doplhin y0 :) And no, it's not called Big Head because a lot of people have gotten head there.

I stayed home the rest of Saturday night and Sunday, glueing my minitures together playing War Hammer, and the regular computer games. Went and saw 28 Days Later on Sunday.

Monday and Tuesday were a holiday for me and on Monday I went swimming with Chelsie and then hung around her the rest of the day. She ended up having a party and I partied there for a bit and went home. I drank responsibly with moderation.

By the way I've been smoking weed the whole weekend. It never inhibited my motivation in any way, which is good. While I was swimming the whole weekend (which wasn't very much) I was with the party crew, or you could call them what some of us have come to know them as... 'friends'. The rest of the time I was with my brother and friends.

It's wasted time, I know, but atleast I was outside in the 'fresh air' getting some physical activity known as swimming. So no harm done, plus I had some contact with the opposite sex. Playing War Hammer with your good friends didn't seem to attract much female interest.

And on Tuesday I mowed the yard, went swimming once again and saw Terminator 3. Which is an awesome movie. Arnold in his token role and he does a damn good job at it.

In this babble which somewhat resembles a diary might contain a few lessons. What have I learnt? I need to find new girlfriends. I've also learnt I have a few choices to make in the near future, and no one wants to hear about them :)

I've also learnt that Canada is 136 years old since Confederation. It would be nice to think we're a country of great possibilities, but reality makes me think otherwise.

Happy birthday Canada.
