Hey, at least you know how to use 'too' and 'to' appropriately, that's more than I can say for most people around here :p
muffy iz to piky abot gramer an speeling
but back to the topic
has it ever occured to you that when you get an idea/concept/whatever really clear in your head that its not the idea itself but the forces surrounding it that are worth discussing?
obviously we all have different views and interests but the things that motivate us toward concern and value of our interests is the same?
if you simply tell ppl what you are thinking they will think whatever they want, usually based on their own concerns for today
this is why news, pop culture, and social issues are addressed so freely but we have to go write poems in another forum and discuss how we "feel" in yet another.
If you intend to continue discussing some of the more etherial topics that you often ponder, perhaps you should look mor eat how exactly they get stimulated in your head and do some stimulating of your own
ok, thats enough seriousness for this late at night
how about a little bit of silly :)

That certainly has not stopped a shitload of people from posting like crazy. Why should it stop you?
Personally, I think you do pretty fair compared to quite a few I've seen posting in various forums around the net so stfu and say something.

I sort of have the same problem. I read all of the the posts here and enjoy them very much. Most of the time however I don't feel I have anything of much value to add so I just keep my mouth(fingers:D) shut. This of course does not deter my smart ass side from uttering the ocassional ingenious quip.
So I'll shut the fuck up and say something? Very interesting way to communicate with someone. Well here I go, you asked for eet.
What's up with this thing called television? I've heard it's not that good of a utility to become accustomed to. As in it's full of tons of shit and doesn't help brain stimulation, except Discovery and all those learning channels. The only brain stimulation you get from all those crap networks are mind numbing and it seems like it's some sort of long term, non physical, labotomy.
I remember when I was a kid and I was over at some friend's house their parents wouldn't let us watch television the WHOLE time. They made us go outside for a period of time to get some 'fresh air'. I'm not too sure on how 'fresh' it really is, but that's a whole new topic to cover. But is television THAT bad? One of my friend's parents unhooked from the cable, leaving them only with 3 channels and my friend cried. His parents are major bible thumpers (but extremely caring and nice) and my friend is a low life alcoholic that can't afford his addiction. AND, that again my friends, is a whole other topic.
So while I was off ranting off topic did you figure out what's the deally with this thing called 'television'? If it's so bad how come it's not stopping or slowing down? Millions of people tune into worthless crap every night. Sure, there's those 'learning channels', but that's not cool these days. Maybe they'll die out when all the kids end up watching BET. My low life friend loves them 'learning channels'. But the rest of them don't.
Maybe it's way to relieve the pressures of everyday life, like alcohol. The evolution of television is already working some fast motion. Maybe it all started with photography, which ended evolving into film, which ended up evolving into television, which ended up evolving into computers. But if it was the fault of photography then it's art's fault too. So lets not go into THAT.
I'm just dumbfounded. Even the news channels are full of crap, even maybe a tool of manipulation, and people rely on that crap for their 'information update'. I love The Daily Show, it mocks news networks while giving you just as much information as the others, but with comedy. Too bad it's only a half hour long.
Don't get me started on the '30 second' TV shows. You know, those 'commercials'. Some are informative, some are funny and some make me want to kill people. I especially love those beer commercials. Wow, I never thought slowly becoming an alcoholic would be so much fun, and make super models draw to me like I was Berry-fucking-White. I shouldn't be prejudice towards people who like alcohol though, it's a way to relieve to stress and get away from the 'everyday life'. There you go saying moderation again. I just find it funny that people base their lives around Friday and Saturday night partying. Work all week, party all weekend and let the cycle continue until you reach 40 and realize you're still single.
There's a phase where I think a lot of young adults realize that the week will never become shorter, and the weekend will become longer. It would be nice but you have to work hard, and usually you only get those long weekends when you're 60. You could rough it, but ummm yeah go for it. I'm getting silly conspieracy thoughts of some over-lying, elusive and unseen control over us. We're not realizing the world, and the Universe, doesn't revolve around us and someone has turn all of this into some sort of cycle before we all just give up.
I really wish I said something new and interesting there, or even neat alone. But it's already been said, been done, thrown into a bag shit and lit on fire. Too bad I'm not 16 and wondering why girls like assholes, and complaining about it with grammar and sentance structure worse than this.

TV, the placation of the masses and how well it works.
We don't watch much TV, usually the 'learning channels' when we do. There's a cool show on Discovery Channel right now. Did you know sunfish can get up to 8 feet long?
I haven't seen a sitcom or drama show in so long I don't even know what's still running.
The irony of this thought is that we are sitting in front of an interactive television discussing television.
