I heard the phrase used yesterday by a professor from an Egyptian university on a christian talk show (yes, I listen to all kinds of things)

The show was specifically discussing whats going on in th epalestinian/israeli conflict currently.

You may well know that there was an "historic" summit last week. Everyone said nice things and agreed that it was time to make steps towards peace.

then the suicide bombers and terroroists form groups (who weren't technically spoken for) killed israeli soldiers and innocent civilians (we already discussed that definition)
So the israelis sent gun ships to kill hamas leaders with rockets.

so far it sounds normal fo rmy life time.
this is how its always been.

my questions to you are this:

do you feel that any "summits" between the leaders of whatever country/group has ever or will ever make any head way here?

I don't mean to be cynical...but I am.
Infact its my personal opinion that if it weren't for the very strong anti-semetic beliefs imbedded in many ppl of many nations (including this one) that israeli would have already wiped out their opposition and those absorbed those who just want to live in peace. Maybe some ppl think I've been fooled by the evil jews. I think that ppl who bastardise their religion to not allow for peace should be wiped from the face of the earth.

[you know I'm kidding]
But maybe another summit will fix this.
Clinton seemed to do real good at this
lets get him back...
