Heading out for Red River Gorge, Kentucky

Tomorrow morning Dana and I should be on our way down to the Red River Gorge in Northish Eastern Kentucky.

This area holds some wicked ass climbing and is located within the Daniel Boone National Forest.

I hope to get a bunch of pictures, and if I don't, suffer. :D

I took no pics. This area is a "see in person or not at all" kind of place. Honestly, pics would do no justice or perhaps trivialize the beauty.

Lots of creepy crawlies in Kentucky, insects, reptiles, etc. Good times.

The hiking is intense, but rewarding. It took Dana and I about 5 hours to hike 6 miles on one trek. Up and down and up and down, over little babbling brooks and muck and mud. It was great.

I'm glad I finally got around to visting this place.
