Just thought I would ask because this is the Testosterone place.
I have an estrogen problem...lack of of it because of the surgeries and all...
So I'm on this HRT - it's called Climara50. It's an Estrodial17B.
I've searched the internet for side effects.
I'm leaking.
Was that too blunt?
I'm not leaking like peeing leaking, I'm having an over abundance of vaginal fluid since starting the HRT.
I don't know if it's normal?
Climara.ca doesn't talk about it. Don't bother searching it, you have to have a DIN number to enter the site...
My dr. tells me that i'm on the lowest dose of Estrodial17B -
If this is a side effect that continues, or increases...I'm going to have to make a serious decision about going off of this HRT.
Which increases my chance at Heart Disease and Osteoperosis.
I'm eating more Soya, so that's good -
Does anyone know of any REALLY REALLY good and easy to navigate websites related to MED.
Please don't recommend WebMD - that's crap.
ps. I'm so horny. I can't believe it. I've never had a libido like this!
Good side effect to HRT> :)

What's wrong with actually speaking with your doctor about it?
Is he/she not available? It seems if you're having issues a prescribed medication you should speak with prescriber about any problems you're having.

I went and spoke with her on Thursday, but she was baffled with this problem and told me that she would have to speak on the phone with my gyno - whom is in and out of OR so I've not heard back from her yet.
The only website that she could recommend for me was the presribed med's website which tells me shit
The Pharacist that I asked (how proactive is that?) recommended WebMD and Health Canada.
Both: Shit.
Alright. Let me get my blush out of the way first. *BLUSH*
O.K. You are horny? You get wet before sex, right? Or just thinking about it? Sounds like this is the side effect to the side effect. So did you ask your Dr. if being horny was normal on this drug? If it is normal, and you just happen to get wet easily, I recomend wearing a panty liner and being glad that you aren't having any worse reactions. Eeeeee. I can't believe I just said all that. I will grow up some day....

Why not have lots of sex?
If there's gas in the tank........DRIVE!
she just had a major surgery.. i'd bet driving is still a no-no at this point. or how long did they tell you that you had to wait barbie?

I have to wait at least 6 weeks after the surgery. That brings me to 2 weeks from today, exactly. Than I have to at least get a dr's sign off because I had bowel surgery and that's hot healing quite the way we expected.
Regardless: the problem isn't that I get wet when I get horney. My libido is increased, that for sure: but I don't have to think about sex or a man or a woman before hand to get wet...i'm always wet.
really wet - panty liners are my best friend wet.
Still no call from the Dr. and I've changed the HRT patch - and it's just getting worse.

If it's not on the Medicine's website, chances are, it's not a common side effect unless they didn't list any at all. I don't mean to scare you at all, but it would be a good idea to harp on the Dr. and try to get ahold of the gyno yourself. I don't really know the laws or anything, but one would think that a medicine website would be required to list side effects of the drug. Try getting ahold of the Dr. again, and the gyno aswell. If you need to, make an appointment to see the gyno, then you know for sure (or as close as you can get to that), that you'll be able to talk to him/her about it.
