What I did during Spring Break, by (insert name here)

I was on vacation this week. Just being on vacation is like releasing a lot of hot air from a balloon filled beyond capacitiy. Hence, no hot air posted by yours truly.

I got to watch my kids amaze and confound me. I did some teaching as well as learning.

How was yours?

traveled roughly 1500 miles
bought a new car
built furniture
set up a lan
reformatted yet another computer, repartitioned one
met a ton of tribals
demanded teh boobies from pb, got turned down :(
outran the same make and model of my former car with the new one (90 mph is fun! :D)
disassembled and cleaned out the car

i win. :p

You cannot fill a hot air balloon beyond capacity. They are not sealed systems and once you have inflated the balloon to it's rated capacity, any extra air you attempt to pump in just flows back out the throat.

I actually have some vacation time to burn. I'm on the back side of a "6 day weekend." I spent the day with my dad and step-mom driving out in the boonies in search of owls. We didn't find any but we did see some antelope, deer, lots and lots of cows and sheep and a few bald eagles. All in all a pretty good day.

im glad you posted this thread as far after my spring break as you did. i dont think i would have been able to answer it at the time it was going on. my spring break came in the midst of midterms. i wrote 4 essays and worked a study guide that i had split up with a friend. it took me 3 days to do my half. when i got back i wrote another 2 essays in two days and took a major midterm that was the writing equivalent of 2 essays. i had time to breathe for about two days and then spent 4 days doing research and refining theses (yes, that is plural, not a misspelling) and then i moved. in the last two days ive written 2 more major papers.
in summation, i need a vacation because my vacation almost killed me.
but ask me about "Bartleby the Scrivener", go ahead, ask me.

For my break I wrote a few papers, flashed a bunch of people, shot some stuff, had fun with a stump on the beach as well as the reflection of a sunrise and, I stooped to a new low, I bouldered.

I guess that constitutes as having fun.

This year for Spring Break I decided to go into Menopause.
I also thought it would be a good idea to have part of my bowl removed, narrowling avoiding a lifetime spent ina colostomy bag.
I bought a new car...it's onlya Saturn though...not half as cool as EA

I think that for the rest of Spring Break (because mine lasts until April 28th) I'll lay around naked on the living room floor.

I've had this week off. I took the kids ice skating, worked on some gun stuff, made a pile of tamales and a few gallons of chili, and turned off my cell phone for a week. It was sweet. I might go to the zoo tomorrow, and will probably take a nap on Sunday after planting some flowers in the yard.
I also grilled a lot, and had some beers with my idiot buddies :)

I watched this over and over and laughed, too.
