A telemarketer lady chick dude just called.

TLCD: Hello, is Mr. Tinnon there?

Me: No he's not.

TLCD: When could be a better time to reach him?

Me: Never, and I'd like for you to remove this number from your calling list.

TLCD: A freaking flurry of words, addresses, and phonenumbers come flying through my telephone. I didn't catch much of it, except that there will still be calls for the next 90 days. Thats how long in advance they schedule them.

Tape the next telemarketer call. Tell them you're recording the conversation (you have to, by law). Tell them to put you on their "do not call list."

If they call again, you will be eligible for $2,500 in damages (for each violation). That money doesn't go to lawyers or courts, it goes directly to you. See the information in your phone book about how it works.

That "90 days" stuff was bullshit, just hope that they keep calling after you've recorded that all-important first "do not call list" conversation. You'll need the tape and a log of all calls in court to get your money. Good luck.
