I payed, well actually my father payed, $13,500 for me to go to McKenzie College to learn animation. It was great up until 2 weeks into January, that's when we started 3-D animation.

My teacher banters at me when I start dozing off when he's teaching a tutorial for an assignment we're doing, "You guys are paying the big bucks for my lessons, and it would be a good idea to listen."

Sure, I'm listening but it's making me fall asleep it's so boring. and I end up doing better trying to learn myself and asking for help when I need it. And it's a pain in the ass when my computer(the one I use at school) starts lagging up, locking up or crashing while using this 3-D program.

It's Monday morning, I drove all the way into town when it's -20 celcius out with a windchill of -30. It's half an hour into class and there's no fucking TEACHER!

I really want to state my opinion to the school about certain things, and I think a lot of other class mates would agree. I actually payed big bucks for a class room environment and machinery that works right. So far this next half of the year looks like a complete waste of time.

How will I be able to state my opinion, without losing my temper? Because when I get started on these things I usually get patronized and lied to, while ending up getting frustrated and eventually losing it.

Talk with your Dad. After all, he paid for this. Explain it just the way you have here. I would be willing to bet he will assist. He has a significant investment here.

"How will I be able to state my opinion, without losing my temper?"

Microsoft Word.

The pen is mightier than...
Well, it is easier to go back and edit out the obscenities before you mail it than to explain to the judge why the administrator really did need a good choking.

Something has been on my mind. I don't know what i'm doing after this year of school, because once the year is over(august) I will have a diploma from that school.

I don't know what I want to do next year. Continue on to another school, try to get a job animating somwheres or try free lancing. Free lancing as drawing and animating my own things. But I've thought of something else, actually I had thought this 2 years ago. The best way to get my stroy across is probably to write one. Maybe I should do what I think is the impossible and write a story. While keeping up with drawing and some animation.

So many decision in what seems very little time. ACKLKE@LR#RF$#GERGVWRG$RWEGW$g

One word: Portfolio

Sharpen your talents on your own if that works better for you. Create some stuff (as you already have) and expand on it.

Flabbergast your teacher! Impress your friends! Get your foot in the door on a new career!

I'd be pissed if you were sleeping in my class, too! Well, unless it was a lucid-dreaming course.
