dude, i have said to you before and now i officially reiterate:
you have almost no bills. your house is paid for, your cars are paid for, you dont have any health problems that require regular medical appointments or medication (other than that one thing..)(jk!)
go get your ass a gig as a bouncer or bartending or something, hell, manage a strip joint. youve got experience.
either way, get some part time job in the evening or on the weekends and GO BACK TO SCHOOL.
that is all.
(sheesh, gotta tell these parents everything twice, they never listen to you...grrrr!)

I agree with Cruise, HD is a wonderful place to work and the pay is above average, the training is very easy and the customers kicka**. Without a doubt my second favorite job ever, the first was a coffee stand and that's only because I'm addicted to caffiene. I'm in the same job hunting boat, have you tried banks? They like all kinds of people.

Go to work in the merchant marine- ie. towboats or tugboats. Sure does make you put life in perspective. That and the pay is very high. Though, you may not like the work(hard as freaking hell), the schedual(no rest for the weary), the life expectancy(we lost an average of 1 deckhand a month to death) or the coworkers(most never finished the 8th grade). But, you will come home to a stack of very large paychecks. Do it for 6 months and you will be able to afford most any college and will have a extremely sour outlook on life for having done that to yourself. :D

Yeah job hunting sucks. I was giving out resumes forever, but I finally landed a really good job. Its only a temp position so who the fuck knows how long I'm gonna have it.

Anyway, I feel your pain!

Run! Run as fast as you can! Ain't no other company gonna give a rat's ass if you can tell them how long it'll take for their ACH batch to go through, or how a debit card works, or that if you use a debit card at a gas pump, it'll only authorize $1, and then it'll take 2-3 days for the full amount to come through. No one cares. Trust me. I've worked at a bank for 4 years, and not one other job prospect has asked me what heading a UCC filing goes under. They haven't asked me to explaine how their automatic payroll gets from their company, to their bank account. They don't care. Unless it's the last job you ever want to have, run like hell.
And she's wrong. They won't like you if you don't wear a tie everyday. They won't like you if you have anything pierced, they won't like it when you die your hair a reddish/brown color, they won't like it if you put braids in your hair (unless you're black then it's ok, but if you're white, it's deffinitly unacceptable). They don't like anyone who won't be just another dot on the wall.
