Well, we all know how I feel about liars, but as someone pointed out to me... its the internet, did you honestly expect otherwise...

I don't like it.

I don't like the fact that she has sent people pics of her underage self.

But....what she does in private isn't really a forum fucking concern is it, its like the eyes of the state should stay out of the bedroom. You boys want to get all hormonal and drool after her naked bits....then learn to cope with the consequences.

If Rogue dosn't think this would have bad repercussions for the forum legally or otherwise, then it's not really a problem.

To be honest, I don't know what the hell all this is about and I'd like to keep it that way. Unfortunately it seems to become an issue that needs some resolution. Since this is the administration area, it became my problem once it was brought up.

Rogue and Bumox have the final word here. That also means that they bear the weight of responsibilty for the content of this forum.

Child pornography is just that. Gender is not an issue. If a link is provided here that directs others to pictures of nude, underage individuals, liability falls directly on the owners of the site as well as the publisher of the link.

They're only two people. In order to maintain the integrity of this site, administrators have been put in place to assist in matters such as this. I applaud the decisions made, the knowledge-gathering skills required to make them and the balls it took to say "ENOUGH".

I'm not yet clear on the legalities concerning minors posting nude pictures of themselves but I can assure you that I will research the issue.

If you have a general problem about someone telling you lies, take it up with them personally.

We are the State in this little nook of the internet. If you can't deal with the responsibility given to you, step down.

Yes, internet is pretty fucked up when it comes down to it. I try not to take anyone seriously online or in person. If they want to trust me, then fine. I try to be very honest with everyone I know, met, etc. At first, all i see a person as.. is an IP address. When i get to know them, then it becomes a personality i can either, like or hate. But all the little bickering has got to stop. But if u like to read about controversy, then go here (http://www.teamplay.net/d?e=40353&p=8) cause this controversy has been going on for months on ETG, and has fooled more than 200+ people at least. Ok.. heres the thing, most of us will have at some stage had naughty photo's taken of ourselves. Whom we choose to distribute them to is our own buisness. If we are passed on naughty photos of underagers, by that underager, it is not a crime in its self, posession of said photo's will be a crime in some jurisdictions, distribution of them is a crime in most.

But... if that link was last year, chances are she is 16 at least by now.. so, depending on the jurisdiction - no crime. (Query, is there a blanket ban of any age on the internet yet?)

And, the forum is not distributing them, the forum has the understanding that she is 19 or something = forum not doing anything wrong. You can make the analogy of me sending Rogue nude photo's of myself, no one elses buisness, ok.

Guilt by association and the detrimental backlash on the forum... well, I'm no fucking saint, I have been convicted of crap in the past, and yes, I even have naked photographs of myself, shock horror... so sue me.

If GA had slept with his girlfriend would you ban him from the forum for sleeping with a minor? Or is that his problem in his life....?

I think that the concern some of us have here is whether or not the irc channel is part of this domain by extension.
seeing as how this is where all the items in question were transferred. Anyone who can clear that article of debate up is asked to please do so.

I am just sad for the fact that something like this has the potential to make rifts between us, and to possibly damage us as a whole, and also and seperate people.

When I recently confronted her about it on the irc channel, she admitted to me that yes, she is only 15.

This went in direct opposition of the posted age requirements of being a member here. I really dont care about any of that tho, seeing as how violating that is on her, and as I understand it, cant hurt us. As for hard proof of this, I cannot offer any. Nor am I aware of any way of procuring hard proof of her true age. That being said, I also think it would be a VERY bad idea for any of our more talented to do anything shady to get that info. That could end up getting us in a worse mess.

As I said ealier, to the best of my knowledge, all pics of her, save what she put up in the THT gallery, were transferred via the irc channel. And the question of whether that channel is a direct extension of this forum is still open to be answered.

Hopefully everything I said about this so far has not come across as bitching about it, merely as speculation. If not, I apologize to all who have read it, it was not my intent to enrage, only to get this resolved.

They were not complete nudes, but i personally have no doubt in my mind that if given the chance, you would have had no reason to stop at bra pictures. You handed out racey material of your underaged ass to the unsuspecting forum members in chat, knowing full well that they could have gotten into deep shit. And thats the last thing i have to say to you.

As for everyone else, i realize i haven't been very friendly about this issue, but when i feel strongly about something, i get worked up. eatme, i won't pretend that none of this bothers me or does not anger me...i'm not the passive type, as most of you know by now.

The whole purplehaze thing tickled my nerves bigtime that's for sure. I was/am still pissed that she lied about her identity and i still feel that she is cursed with a lifetime of being blatantly stupid and pathetic. But i would have eventually gotten bored with all that. Then i found out she lied about her age and......well, that was the last goddamned straw. She could have gotten some of my friends in trouble. I guess all thats left is to say im sorry. I shouldnt have lied to any of you. Alot of you i considered more then just words on a screen. Alot of you i considered "friends" Some of you i still do. I dont really want to lose this. What i did was fucked up...lying about being PH19...lying about my age. But you kind of have to understand why i did it. Some of you may be wondering that, some of you might not give a shit, either way heres my reasoning.

When i first came here i still didnt realize there was a difference between THT and SPF. i see the way 15-16-17 yr olds are treated there and figured if i told the truth here, the same shit would happen. After i found out that THT is COMPLETELY different from SPF it was too late to back out of a lie. I figured, how the hell would they find out my real age...id dint think you would so i thought i was ok. But i got caught..::shrugs shoulders:: shit happens. You've all been caught in lies, and you've all had to suffer consequences. If you feel my consequences should be that my posting privilages are revoked/banned/banishment/ostracization (??) then so be it. If you feel that you can give me another shot to make up for the fucked up shit that i've done...so be THAT. either way i'll respect the tribals decisions. I like you all, (even zoey) i think you are all quirky, intersting, and valuble people and i would like to continue coming here and conversing with you all.

First off, I would like to say that I respect you for coming out and telling the truth. In a group like this, coming clean about lying about your identity is not an easy task. While I do not condone what you did, I think you should be respected for that.

As for the rest, the wise man Kol pretty much hit on everything I was going to say.

My suggestion is just to wait it out a few days. Nobody likes being lied to, but I think some people overreacted, and I think once they have time to absorb all the info, they'll calm down. I would still like to see you here...just no more lying.

This is the only fucking place in the world you can do that when you fuck up.

If you'd given pic (even a not-so-bad-one)to someone from your school while off school premesis
And they had got caught with them on school premisis....
Some one would be in jail, or expelled, etc.
