<font color="lime">alrighty guys, it's the holiday season and it's time to play a game! i'm sure you're all familiar with the UK gameshow "whose line is it anyway?", or at least have seen the horrifying american butchering of it. well, our game is called "whose fault is it anyway?" let's begin!

Holiday shoppers, question number one: when you see something that you want to buy, but wait three weeks to purchase it and now it's out of stock...whose fault is it anyway?

question numbah two: when you come to the mall with no idea what size your middle daughter's boyfriend wears, then can't find anything that "looks" like it'll fit...whose fault is it anyway?

question number three: when you're at the register and the shirt you thought was on sale rings up regular price and the clerk points out that the sale is only on a particular brand...whose fault is it anyway?

ok, listen up you fucking psycho powershopping headcases! almost everything that you find wrong with the christmas season (long lines, product availability, parking, rudeness) is your OWN FUCKING FAULT. do not think that being rude to the salespeople is going to alleviate your situation in any way, shape, or form. in fact, i'm willing to bet dollars to donuts that it will actually make your shopping experience worse. because said clerks are the people trying to assist you and get you the fuck out of there. so remember to be nice to your sales clerk, or they will most assuredly hide the last care bear in stock that you're looking for.

thanks, and have a happy holiday. bitches.

I just shop online, thus lessening the overall workload on people and eliminating the hassle of large, annoying crowds entirely. :D

hmmm

I like morgana's point

BTW:
what says love more than BUYING something?

forget about jesus, blinking lights, and credit cards with 0% interest till may for a sec

I use christmas as the one special day of th eyear where I make a point to tell the ppl I love, that I love them.
I may well do that every other day of the year also...but on this one day I sorta dedicate it to it. If I can get you something I will, usually I can't (being poor and hating the idea of buying useless crap) but I try to say a nice word to you at some point in the holiday season. Thats sorat the point of "good will toward men"
But till then perpetuate morgana's hellish description and rsuhout to BUY something to PROVE how much you LOVE your materialistic friends and family.

You know...its that very thing that makes my stomach turn just a little bit this time of year. If it wasn't for those friends and family I have I couldn't stand the fuckery that Americans apply in Jesus's name each December.

Wow MAC, I've never felt so guilty about wanting to buy something for someone I love before.

I was shopping yesterday, and actually got the Disney store clerk to admit she hated the "screaming little brats" that go running through the store. I think she felt relieved.

As you know, I work a job like Morgana's (retail.)

All of you ( consumers ) generally suck until after the new year.

That is all.

I worked retail while in kollege.

Tis why I now work with critters.

Critters > consumers

OK.. I agree Morgana... but what about when you are as nice as possible to the salesclerk just because you know she's having a hard time with all the people.. and she still bites your fukn head off. ???

Been there done that, i make myself be very nice when shopping this time of year, atleast to the clerks.. the other shoppers can kiss my ass.. but the clerks i'm always nice to them, and 9 times out of 10.. they just look at me and are bitches anyways!

I've never worked in retail..and i'm thankful for it. But I know.. that around this time of year, being a waitress wasn't easy either.. cause a bunch of iritated shoppers come sit their happy asses down at your table, and give you a hard time the entire time, and bust your balls for taking 2 minutes to get their tea instead of one... and then they tip you a fukn dollar... EGADS! I feel your pain..

Sorry MAC, this one wasn't ment to be a "bite the head off" kind of post. It was more of a "gee, when you put it that way...." post. I promise, I'm not holding a grudge over any other disagreements.

PB, nobody means to bite your head off. It's "that time of the year" for us. Plus, if you've tried to be nice and they are still jerks, feel free to level them and let them know that. Mean clerks are just bad in general.

I agree.. and i know it's very stressfull.. just get tired of being nice.. when they don't care either way.. It's just not good customer service... but i agree.. shoppers can be pure hell.. so it's somewhat expected anyways.. after all it is "that time of the year" . SHOP ONLINE!!!!!!

well, what morgana said at the start or teh thread is true. she left a few things out, though. the simple fact is, if you are buying something from me, i want you to pick it out, have your fucking coupons ready before you get in line, make sure you are carrying enough money to pay, and go through with a minimum amount of fuss and get GONE. don't bring children to the store if you can't control them, don't knock things over into the middle of the aisle and then walk away like nothing happened. the person behind the counter is not your friend, and most likely doesn't want to be. no matter how they might smile and be polite. working retail is acting, even more so than being in a play. i say more so because not only do you have to get it right the first time without yelling "CUT!!!" and starting over, but the other people don't know their fucking lines.
simply put, no matter how much i might like you the rest of the time, when you are in my store you are not my friend. i will do whatever it takes to get you to pick out what you need, pay and LEAVE. this is called customer service, in most cases. bad actors don't last long in retail.

Couldn't have said it better myself.

And for all of you who get new computers for christmas, and get a cable modem, and don't know how to double click a mouse....DON'T CALL TECH SUPPORT FOR THE MODEM TILL YOU TAKE A DAMN COMPUTER CLASS. To quote morgana: "Bitches."

I vote for Morgana's post to be the new front text...the other one is a bit old.... :)
