He had lymphoma (or something like that...not sure how it's spelled). It's one of those cancers that you just have to wait for it to kill you. http://www.thehypertribe.net/ubb/frown.gif

Saw them only once at an outdoor gig somewhere in the sticks somewhere in Belgium about 9 years ago.

They were top of the bill, following the Pogues. Pretty damn impressive line-up, Sonic Youth, Frank Black (acoustic),amongst others and first up a then pretty unknown combo called Nirvana.

The first Ramones LP is an excellent guitar primer, it's in simulated stereo, so you can adjust the mix with the balance knob.

Would you believe I first heard of his passing away on the BBC world service, I must be getting old.

He colors well, don't he?
