when a cigarette burns it continues up a set path. if it doesnt take this path it will eventually burn itself out or not complete the job of the burning evenly. what does this have to do with you?
ill tell you, everything.
every smile you flash, every gleam of the eye, even when not directed to some set target, is the match to the cancer, as far as im concerned. you have no idea what i think when i look at you. you dont know what impression you make, if you make any at all. you cant say how pure my intentions are, or how oblivious i am of any intentions at all. as far as you know, im thinking
"hi, nice day, see you later"
because this is what i say. what i could be thinking is
"you and me, right now, in the elevator"
or
"shouldnt have had that last cup of coffee"
and the point is you dont have any idea what kind of burn you will get, or if anything will come of it, as that has at least something to do with me.
this is my locus of control. people say they have no control; they have this. every moment you have this. every other moment you probably give this to someone else.
so i have to ask myself.
why do so many people say good morning to me?

Because it's better than saying;

Sup Bitch!

nah, it's just respectful to say good morning, blah, blah, blah.

But I fallow your train of thought.
