you can shoot people in oregon, if you have the sense to hide the bodies. lots of empty forest for that purpose, too.

Don't just concentrate on a state, think "another country" as well. Holland Amsterdam and New Zealand is popular for the sheep fuckers. You'll feel right at home. ;)

I'd say Colorado cause it has the mountains, and I know you like rock climbing, but I'm here and therefore you shouldn't move here.

Like what what Venis said. Anywhere near the Rockies.
Why the hell Wisconsin? Everyone Ive talked to that lives there says it sucks ass.

Remember that love of climbing? Look for a place that is climber friendly and will loan it's boulders and rocks to you.

Try New Mexico or Arizona. Lots of rocks to climb, it's in the middle of nowhere, and everything is a roadtrip to get to. But perty. Avoid yankeeland and California.

Wouldn't that be reason _not_ to move to NH?

NM or Arizona do make good choices, but both tend to get pretty warm in the summer months. Wisconsin is cold. Cold

I enjoy states with rolling hills, forest and meadows
I always have and I always will

I get sad when i think abou tleaving the only place I ever wanted to call home.
And for my trouible I get told I am being silly and that I don't know anything about other places.
Well, I love my home and I won't ever run out of things to explore and do here.

But there are things more important in this world than what you want.
Things that give you what you will NEVER have at home where you are satisfied and feel secure.

For me that something is "motivation"

What will it be for you?

Travel, explore - you won't know where the perfect spot for settling down is, until you've found it.

I've spent significant time in 4 countries on 2 continents, and have yet to find my place to settle down...

i have a home. i dont know if ill ever live there again. the problem with places, like people, is they change. but if youre gonna have a good job in the tech industry and you like rock climbing and just basically outdoor stuff, try austin.
or dont.
if less people move there, i might move back.

ms. bing,

Funny you should mention that - I'm in high tech, like rock climbing and outdoor stuff - and I live..

This is not completely a bad idea.. let's move all the tribals to Texas...

and pmahn.. I think you would like Austin.. live in one of the suburbs right outside of Austin.. it kind of all runs together... but they have pretty much everything there! I need to go for a visit very soon actually.

I know quite a few people from Austin... doesn't seem like a bad place.

I have several years before I have to worry about it, but I might just end up in Texas.

AND DAMMIT, YOU'LL ALL COME VISIT ME!

I'll admit, I like Texas. I always will. I will always have a home or at least a camping spot in Texas :D.

Or... you might try Arizona. Sure it gets hot in the summer, but it is the only state that doesn't recognize Daylight Savings time and all that shit. You don't have to reset yer clocks twice a year.

Or you could come to Korea. :D

Umm - wrong - neither does Hawaii. Also, in Indiana, it is a county option - they never know what the hell time it is. Some counties in western IN are on eastern standard time, while others are on central daylight time - cross the county line, gain (or lose) two hours.
