Nothing really wrong with it. This just kinda carried over from chat. There were some doubts in some folks minds about not having to sand when hanging drywall for painting prep. I worked for a contruction co. for about a year and a half, we hung drywall, we never sanded shit. There isn't any need when it's done right.

You ever see those tape/mud dispenser contraptions? They seem to work pretty good, from what I've seen.

Good god. Just smear the mud and tape on all in one go with a butterknife and sand it later. All these trowels and tools and stuff are for professionals!
