I apparently made a lot of threads I don't remember. Hmmm..

Anyway...

Looking back and seeing my old posts really surprised me. I had no idea how conversational I was. I never really said anything more than a few lines, and I basically derailed everything with personal conversation. :o

I haven't been around much as of late (school and work obligations...I still <3 you all), but I've definately gotten more serious and emotional (read: whiny) in my posts. I have always been a very private person and am fairly reluctant to talk about myself, and I found that I was eventually able to do that here and not be insulted, which was really cool.

I still tend to not take part in overly serious discussions, and I think I mostly just reply to contribute my opinion. I don't really debate anymore because I tended to bring out the worst in people with that. :D

hmmm lets see. since my first post the only stuff i've read since then are Maxim magazines, internet/forum articles, a couple of chapters of a book i got for christmas and text/tutorial books from school.

as for changing, yea sure why not? still, 1700 posts later it's nothing special chaps.

Heh...yup. I'm still a klutz. It won't change. First post was about how I'd want to die. It's changed some, but I think overall I'm the same person. Maybe alittle more openminded, but I was pretty openminded when I came here in the first place.

I think my first post was in a thread made by D debating whether or not I should be invited here, when the THT was all hush hush.

There were some differing opinions, if I recall correctly, but I was a different person then. Perhaps not a DIFFERENT person, but acted different. Considering all posts that were seen by me were from the SPF. We all know we act different there.

It was nice to come here because we were not taunted for making a serious post, or a sensitive post. This is what I love about the THT. I find that we are a family, in a way. We stick together, and if we don't like something, we talk it out and find a solution if there is one to find. I feel at ease here. I find that I show more here because I know it won't be exploited.

The other day I think I posted a picture of something and Gary was sitting beside me. He said something like "You're going to post that?", and my reply was, "Yeah, its the hypertribe."

It made me smile after I realized what I said and why.

I can't remember my first post, and they killed the original muffy so I cant look it up either. I think it was prolly something pretty dull though, I knew everyone here already.

I can't remember why there was a big issue over whether Kaye should be invited - I don't recall having a problem with it personally. I do remember Kaye being an Uber bitch way back then though :) I think the very first thing Kaye said to me was "what kind of a name is muffythevampyre layer, are you some kind of slut?" hehe. Nice to see that she's become such a lovely person now.
