Ah, the stories I could tell now that we're in the aftermath...

I've been told that we only experience Christmas three times in our lives;

1) As a child
2) As a parent
3) As a grandparent

I'm lucky enough to have experienced the first two personally and all three empathetically. The last few days have truly altered my perspective.

Like it or not, the well-wishes expressed here were carried with me as I contemplated mortality, cosmology (still confused) and simplicity. Most of my answers came from my children.

If you're reading this, you have my permission to procreate.

I ask, however, that you shower the lives of your children with the love you wish for yourself. I promise you that your investment will return to you with interest.
