There is a bug in the java chat that loads multiple clones. When this happens, they all join with you, and HyperBot which is an IRC Robot, sees it as a "Join flood" and bans the address to prevent more of these clones from joining. This isn't anything done out of malice, nor is it your fault, it's just a bug in the Java IRC applet/client.

If I or anyone else who has access to HyperBot sees this happen, we unban you as soon as it happens. Sorry we weren't around when it did happen to you though.


You might try using <a href="http://www.thehypertribe.net/hyperbot/h2.html">mIRC</a>, it doesn't load multiple clones unless you mean to.
