Ok, no jokes. Only truth.

When our Yin was about 10 years old, she wandered off and was missing for several days. One night we heard a rythmically familiar scratch on the door.

(Hold your breath) She had been hit by a car(we think), was matted with blood, feces and grass. She required surgery to repair the torn muscles in her abdomen.

Yin is now 18 years old (almost 19).

Ironically, Mamma Kol (my mother) just called me and told me about a stray black cat she's taken in.

Too many coincidences today. Here's a long-distance hug, Kiwi...
