i was just screwing around with it, trying to figure out what each variable did, and that's what i got off my first 2 renders. both are results of letting the terrain generator do it's own thing, but i've fucked with the water levels and such in each, and played with the position of the sun and whatnot. in future, i'll likely design my own terrain for it to take pics of, but till i figure out how to get the various brushes to do what i want, i get to use the random generation thing.

i like this toy.
and it was FREE!!!!!!

P.S. it's an evaluation version of a work in progress. the website said it'll likely be available commercially in a year or so. pretty damned good for a beta, huh?

Terragen is old news, SLH. :) To me anyways, I’ve had it on my PC so long, I forgot I even installed it. :D I made some really nice pics... but I lost them when I formatted my HDD. :cry: made this up real quick (2 mins) and took 6 mins to render.
