According to people who have done it, drowning is a really relaxed way to go.

After an initial panic you sort of relax and the water fills your lungs giving you a feeling not unlike being in the womb.

And especially in the ocean, the cruel sea, unbeatable, wild, romantic.

i almost drowned TWICE when i was little, within one year of each other. I havent been able to swim in the ocean since. I dont like swimming in lakes either. I have to be able to see whats in the water (i.e. pools, bathtubs) So i think just water in general scares me.
