Dark side of OZ

I had nothing to do last night so i decided to try playing Pink FLoyds dark side of the moon album while watching Wizard of OZ> i dont know how many of you have heard about this so i'll explain.

Supposedly there are many similarities to things that are said in PF songs and thigns that happen in W of OZ.

I thought to myself beforehand that i could take any CD and play it in sync with a movie and find SOME similarities, but it was eerie because while watching W of OZ there were so many. It was rather strange. just thought i'd share my creepy experience.

I'll go you one better than that.
I have a four channel Akai stereo from the 70's and an Akai four track reel to reel.
I have run through every Judas Priest/Ozzy/Metallica/Slayer/King Diamond album I could find.
Backmasking occurs in Two types.
1) accidental
"where do we go now" on G-N-R Sweet child of Mine sounds like "worship the devil"
2) on purpose
I never ran across any "on purpose" backmasking but I did put some in to be funny once or twice.

By way of comparison
I recently bought my daughter a happy meal at McDonalds and the Barbie radio (after she pushed the button about 50 times sounded just like it was saying "so much fun, goddamn doll, oh oh Barbie"

Sheesh! What a memory rush!

Yeah, the Pink Floyd/Wiz thing is entertaining. I found great joy in mastering a few tapes for friends so they could do with them as they wished without bothering me with the secondary "realizations" that come about during the first alterred viewing.

To prove my point about the coincidental aspects of the combination, I closed my eyes and picked a CD at random, followed the instructions for synchronizing "Dark Side of the Moon" and added an alternative version to the videotape. By chance, I picked NIN's Further Down The Spiral (http://www.rollingstone.com/recordings/review.asp?aid=46124&cf=55) .

The coincidences astound me to this day.
