Temperatures are rising, according to atmospheric physicists (one of whom I know well enough to trust). I understand that this is not very contentious.
Did you mean 'do you think that human actions are a cause of global warming'?

Yeah. I'd rather not spend my day off gathering info for this. Would hard data actually change minds or would it end up being a wash on info that never sinks in?
/me listens for the sounds of napping children while reading.

I think the more important question is 'do you care?'
Me, I do not. No I wouldnt go around spraying CFCs out of my ass all day, if given the ability, but quite frankly this does not affect me...lets say it does exist and the world is heating up...well, future generations now get to combat it more actively than we do...big fucking deal, Im sure it wont be the end of us and itll give the kids something to work on...idle hands are the devils workshop you know...so you get one vote for eh.

Global warming = good.

Every generation needs something to do, were just safeguarding
that tradition for the next generation.
Temperatures wont reach 200 degrees anytime soon, so fuck it.

First there were holes in the ozone layer --nowhere near civilization, and it was our fault.
Now we've actually thrown too much fossil fuel residue into the air and as a result we've thickened the ozone and have the greenhouse effect.
I find it hard to believe both is happening :) Pick one, and blame us for it.

Ozone is important because it absorbs some of the high energy ultraviolet radiation that would kill us much younger if it got through.
I didn't think that ozone really had anything to do with global warming, however.
