Ok today i was posed this question and i thought it would be interesting to see your responses:

If an alien (play along) came to you and asked you to take them to your leader. Who would you take them to? Who do you think could properly represent the world? Serious answers please

It depends on where they are from and what they want and whether or not I like the first impression they made with me. Then I could determine what sort of representation I feel like giving them.

As for your question...I take it you want "creative" answers, or just serious ones. I hate serious except when I am being serious, but I am not being serious which means you can't take me seriously even when I am being serious, which is definately not now. But, seriously folks... I hate it when I do that.

Well, I would say mother teresa, but for two reasons, that cant be done...1.) She's dead. 2.) She represents an IDEAL world, one where people care more about others then themselves, and aren't selfish. Far from what the world is like today.

Another person I would take them to if they were still alive is Rich Mullins. You probably have no idea who that is, but I am sure you know the christian song "Awsome God" Well, he is the one that wrote that. I am not really religious, and I wouldn't take the "aliens" to him because he is religious, but because 1.) he is not a hypocrite 2.) He made ALOT of money in his life time...but what did he do with all of it? he GAVE IT AWAY to people who needed it...he lived on the smallest amount of money possible...w/o fancy things like a HOUSE (I believe that he lived in a trailer). And like I said, from all the songs he wrote, he made ALOT of money. I would want to take them to him to show that there are good, generous caring people in the world...but again, that is not the norm.

Now, who would I choose, that would represent a great majority of the world?
Why, William Jefferson Clinton. Why? well, lets look at this....
1.) He is a hypocrite
2.) He lies
3.) He is promiscuos (sp?) (or he would be if he could get enough chicks...come on..ya know its true! lol)
4.) He is selfish
5.) He looks out for number one
6.) His marriage seems to be falling apart
7.) He loves fastfood, but still seems to be concerned about his weight (the jogging)
8.) He isn't getting any thinner because of the running, probably due to McDonalds. http://www.thehypertribe.net/ubb/biggrin.gif

If I wanted to show the aliens what a majority of people are like in the US (and other parts of the world), I would take them to him. If I wanted to show them what an Ideal world, and the people in it, would be like, I would keep them as far away from Bill as possible.

If I start seeing aliens, the first person I would be taking them to see would be my shrink, failing that, I would take them to see my drug dealer. If neither of these people could offer an explanation, I'm with pianobabe.

I would give them a batch of my hash cookies(or the ones I hadn't eaten)and them direct them to ToadyRage. Can you see the title of his next film? Alien sex aside, I would probably take them to dubya. He's close enough to alien to make contact. Make them feel at home.

Since they must have unimaginable capabilities if they can travel interstellar distances, they most likely wouldn't ask that question since they already would know we don't have a leader.

THere really isnt a clear cut leader on this planet. Look at who we hold in high regard around these parts.... sports icons, liars, thieves...

i think it's pretty obvious that the most evil and obnoxious person would be the one that represents the world. But then again i'm sure Mr Gates would scare away those aliens with his smile.

there are several underground people who control the topside world like puppets (politicians, etc.)

knowing this i cannot take them to my leader for i know not who it is

i pretty much thought the same thing. there is no one who can really represent earth. So i'd probably just tell him to go back too. THeres nothing here that they probably don't know about.
