My boss has recently defined the parameters of what is considered sexual harrassment... I was pretty amazed when she explianed that telling someone that they are dressed nice could be taken as SH. I have never known for any woman to take offense to me by telling them that they looked good.... However I feel that I have to walk on eggshells now and basiclly come to work un-caring and un-feeling because I might say the wrong thing and next thing you know I have no job and hit with a law suit!!! THAT SUXS!!!

Sexual harassment is such bullshit. Someone making degrading sexual comments to you is sexual harassment...saying you like someone's outfit is not. And it's only men that get in trouble from it...a girl could tell a guy he looks nice and nothing would happen. I'll put money on that.

It comes down to 90% of women being gold-digging guttersluts. Anything for money. That's my opinion of it, anyway.

For a country that is so upset that there is nothing but hatred being displayed, they sure as hell aren't helping it.

Welcome to the new world of Corporate Political Correctness. My company sent me to 4 days of training for something they called "Inclusion." What it boils down to is "how to speak like a computer and never, NEVER offend anyone." I used to do the one-armed buddy hug to people. OUTLAWED. "You look nice." OUTLAWED. Questions about a person's personal life. OUTLAWED.

Granted, me telling a female associate that she can get a raise for a blowjob is out of line. We are, however, human and should be allowed some personal contact in our working enviroment. If something I say offends an associate, they should tell me so and I should stop. If I repeat the offense, nail me to the wall.

Remeber: When a man talks dirty to a woman it's sexual harrasment. When a woman talks dirty to a man it's $2.99 a minute.

looking to a corporation for logic is like asking your priest for contraceptive advice http://www.thehypertribe.net/ubb/rolleyes.gif

corporations are ALREADY idiotic (the people who brought us 'synergy' http://www.thehypertribe.net/ubb/biggrin.gif)

what it comes down to is a bunch of people in a room with no basis of reality (board of directors) seeing a few complaints (valid ones) and deciding that to avoid them in the future they should turn the office into a warzone... good show http://www.thehypertribe.net/ubb/biggrin.gif they feel that inter office politics should be based mainly in fear and that that will improve production

why else would they put things like 'do not ingest' on spray paint containers

in the business world everything is taken to extremes.. the fact you can no longer make somebody feel good about themselves by complimenting them (innocently) makes sense to me

i will never work in an office building.. im too much of an individual http://www.thehypertribe.net/ubb/biggrin.gif

psst... bumox.. ur lookin pretty cute in those jeans (homosexuality can be funny http://www.thehypertribe.net/ubb/biggrin.gif)

Hey...It all makes sense...for the company.
They don't what a long winded lawsuit, it costs money. What better than to make all your workers into mindless drones, increased efficiency.
Hehhee...I remember watching the Dirty Dozen recently and see a soldier slap a girl on the ass....boy, you cant do that anymore....I think.

If Corporate America found out punching yourself in the head makes you perform better, they would find a way to incorporate it into your routine.
