View Full Version : Being a friend and getting fukd for it!
Have you ever been such a good friend to people that when something goes wrong you would think they would know better than to not point the finger at you?
I'm in a situation right now that involves like 8 people that I am really good people with. Something has been repeated to someone else type of bullshit, and I am the one that is being punished for it ! I didn't fukn say anything at all, but since I am the one that is friends with all 8 people I am getting blamed!
Now like 5 of those really good friends have been told that t hey can not have anything to do with me if they wish to keep their jobs ! Tell me that's not some shit. Has anything like this ever happened to any of you? Or am I the only one that something so fucked up could happen to? and the worst part about it.. the other three, are probably the ones that are actually the problem and not me.,... I guess that's what you get for keeping your ears open, even when you have kept your mouth shut!
I'm so fukn mad right now I can't see straight.. so someone please tell me that some shit like this makes sense to them!

No, it's just you. :D
:(
I'm sorry! :( sounds like it sucketh greatly, and no, it doesn't make any sense to me.
in response to your question, no that has never happened to me. But I am interested in knowing what happened, even though it is none of my business, and there is no reason that I need to know.

Seriously, without knowing the details it sounds like threatening someone's job over whom they associate would be illegal. At the very least it should fall under "Hostile Work Environment" legislation and any of you could bring suit over it.
Sorry to hear of your frustration PB. :(
I agree it should be illegal. These people do not work with me. They work in a different office, an office that i have spent many hours in with all my "friends" an office which today I was told that I am no longer welcome at. and I didn't even do anything. no one even bothered to fukn ask me.
I will sit at a fukn lie detector if I have to.. but that's beside the point. the point is that they should know me, and know my character better than to blame me for something that I haven't done, especially without letting me even defend myself.
I'm sorry for these frustrations too DB.. and rage.. i'm sure you can figure out one of the major people involved and why I would be so upset!
grrrrrr...
day 2 with no sedatives.. and i will probably have to take one before this bullshit is over!

*raises hand*
I'd rather not discuss it in public, though.

I can assure you that when you have other people involved in what you love, they will fuck it up for you.
Everytime.
And if you even get near what they do you will be accused of fucking their shit up before its done...usually right after they ask you to help.
You gotta be nitpicking millimicron cautious about what you let yourself be associated with every step of the way.
It will keep you from doin 90% of the shit you want to do with your life if you let it...but you'll be safer. :( (gotta weigh the value of that fact for yourself)
So you look at everyone you speak to and everyone you communicate with as a risk.
Your friends have a much greater chance of hurting you than the strangers who pass you at the mall.
Your loved ones can destroy the shell around your social person so fast it isn't even funny.
All you can do is be ready to be defensive or shut the hell up....
Example:
I have very recently opened myself up to so much of that its not even slightly humorous. Any number of people could have played on my current situation and my state of mind to hurt me or embarass me or even disgrace me in front of all my piers here.
Thats the chance you take when you speak especially when your heart or self respect is involved.
I appreciate those people who read and passed in silence to my recent ranting and venting.
But as for your situation PB.
Do whatever you have to do to act like you don't care and go on with your life. They want to be part of a big circle of bullshit let them be in it alone.
I'm sure you can round up 8 more friends ;)
And leave those damned paxil alone...
*theMAC takes his negative attitude back of and hangs it in the closet*
Do not hesitate to vent here as much as you need.
Just keep in mind that people read and listen and think about what you say.
So try to stick to the circumstances, discissions, and the feelings involved rather than the details of this particular incident.

I'm all too familiar with getting fucked over by people I thought were my friends. If I think the friend is worth it then I attempt to find out what the hell the problem is... if not, too bad for them.
Thank you all for the advice and comments on that..
needless to say.. a short condenced version. SOmeone repeated something, i got blamed because i am friends with all the current employees of a company, and some of the ex-employees of this company. automatically the finger was pointed at me. I am banned from their office.
Later in the day, it was proven that it was me, yet i am still not welcome back there. wtf? I told them I do not plan to go back there until i get an appology from the man who accused me of having a big mouth and bruising my pride in a group of people that mean so much to me. i'm still mad about it. but have calmed down quite a bit,
PB
walk up to the office, turn around, slap your ass, and say "kiss it biatches!"
and then walk the fuck off :)
that's what I'm gonna do if I ever get fired :)

They found out who it was that was talking and that what was said was something I never even had knowledge about. It's all stupid, and just bullshit basically. An office gets into trouble, let's point the finger at someone who doesn't work there, when it turns out it was someone within the office. Sounds confusing because it is, imagine how i felt getting a call and being blamed for it. lol I hate being caught in the he said she said bullshit of the day.
And Rage sweetie.. if you ever do that, please call me ahead of time so that I can witness it! \\ But in all honesty that right there is the main cause of the said problem above. someone gets fired, gets mad, talks about a bunch of non-public shit, and i got blamed.

re-read what I quoted PB. You might want to correct it, lest people think it a freudian slip.
