The next cold was will be with china. Right before the real thing. I think nuclear weapons will detonate on US soil. The Chinese can already hit Alaska. In a few years they will be able to hit any spot on the earth. I think the first thing they will do is take over Taiwan holding us off with a nuclear threat on the west coast with nuclear moles all over the country. We will not interfere but a cold war will ensue. The Chinese will buy Russian nuclear subs and build their own and the cat and mouse game will begin again.

i think if anyone is to start nuclear war, it won't be china or the us. it's pretty much common knowledge by this point that full-scale nuclear war will kill us all, so i think if anyone starts it it'll be some wacky middle-easterner. you can't survive nuclear war, so nobody wants to start one.

China has no reservations on using nukes on good ol' America. They would happily push the button and the people will approve. The US on the other hand, will have legions of protestor denouncing the use of nukes. A big hearing will start on wether dropping a nuke on China will be good or bad for business. This hearing will take ages, while China is fired up and ready to go. Majority of the people will not approve. US will be one step behind.
