If you already have a fav OS and have enough resources to install multi OSs, DO SO. In fact, don't ditch your pref OS for XP. Compatability issues will ruin your day if you're not careful.

If you can read and follow links, the damned OS practically teaches you how to admin a network.

Played with XP briefly. I run 2000 Pro at home. In my mind they both complicated networking, at least for what I do. I prefer being able to configure my own networks without a wizard popping up and trying to do it for me. We just phased out using NT at work when building new networks. I miss it.
