Wouldn't that be a nice thing to read?

I sure would enjoy it.

See, IL wants $54 from me. I don't want to give them $54. A country so bent on education is raping it's educationees.

So, what do you think the chances of me gathering up the vast majority of college students to protest taxation is? I mean, we get these millions of people to not pay taxes "they" couldn't do much; too many people, not enough man power.

I say fuck em all with 4 foot cattle prods. Who is with me?

Hey, piano, want me to get your mom to send you over some mac and cheese or anything? Protesting alone is hungry work.

Good luck.

And

You wanna bet?

It would never get very far. "They" wouldn't let it. Before it grew to any significant amount of people, you'll all be thrown in jail for trying to overthrow the government. Then any arguement on your part will be seen as futile. You will be labeled as a terrorist group and you will never see day light again.

Now get busy making your picket signs.:p

Well and good P-mahn. Enjoy your visit with ther gestapo.

Are you an adult?

Do you have an income?

Act like one, and pay the fucking $54!

No, principles do not have price tags. Does your freedom? Does the privilege of attending a publicly supported university (it is not a right)?

I pay taxes. Every fucking time I buy something at the store. My parents pay taxes. And you know what? Because the fucking assmonkies in charge of this country cant understand basic business principles, my college can't give out fucking class syllabuses because they have to cut costs.

Fuck that noise.

I'ma run things from now on.

Are you sure it's the government's fault here? Maybe your university isn't budgeting so well. I bet you see a bunch of really dumb crap around campus, various student activities, big piles of unread student newspapers, giant tacky artwork, money given to little groups of people for various clubs, frivolous research. That sort of thing. That's where your syllabus went.

By the way, my wife's old university, she paid close to 50, 60 bucks for student athletic fees per quarter, which gave her limited hours of access to a very small, ill equipped gym. I think her money went to the very large, very nice gym that the school's athletes used exclusively. If you want to be pissed about something to do with your school, start with that sort of stuff. I'm sure you can find it.

It's the government's fault when the cut a few million from what the university normally gets.

I'm telling yah, I hate these fuckers.

Hmm. So, what you are saying is that you are upset that more of the onus of paying for your education is laid upon you, rather than the public as a whole?

Higher education benefits society as a whole, yes, so it could be said that it is worthwhile for the government to assist in this. Assist being the operative word.

If the goverment gives less, then you must give more, or accept less from the University. Maybe you guys could cut back on partying, compact disks, fun dinners out. The sort of things that many people that provide the tax dollars can't afford for themselves.

$54, is that for a whole year?

If they can't get it out of you in taxes, they'll just create a new 'fee' (like our recreation and activity 'fee' that we have here - you have to pay it even if you never even look at the gym.) Then they will probably up the fee to fund the paperwork that the change from tax to fee created, and charge you an administration fee on top. Or maybe Im just a cynic.

I'm merely saying that SOOOOOO much of a students money is already going towards the good of a common cause, that tax money should be given back.
