For those of you who remember the altercation I had with Tarryns teacher last year:

I was down in the University bar the other afternoon when I ran in to one of my friends - she had her 13 year old son with her. Ben (her son) also had Tarryn's teacher when he was younger - apparently she was quite mean to him as well.

He comes up to me and says:

"I heard you made Mrs Christy cry"

I laughed and said that yes, she had run away crying after I was finished with her

He says:

"Wow Trudi, I look at you with entirely new found respect - you're my new hero"

:D

It's nice to know my evil is appreciated.

I believe its not YOUR evil but HERS that is noticed, dear.

You did what was right, IMHO.

Course, the gov't interference and tax-backed regulations don't help to allow actual parnets to have asay in who the teachers are or what they teach.

This is indicative of greater problems.

But in the interests of our kids, I am glad you told that fucktard off. She needed it.

My wife has plans to make sure my daughter goes to private school. I intend to pay every dime I can for it. Having an actual say in who the teachers are and what is taught is priceless. Plus being able to supliment with tutors will be immensely valuable.
The whole new family supports this and that is the power behind the education.
If I give her nothing else that will be it.

True. But the general consensus amongst the teachers now is "Don't fuck with Tarryn, his mother is evil" - which is just the way I like it. :D

Aye - I would have liked to smack her round the chops for a bit too, unfortunately, I couldn't find a law to justify THAT!

Yes, I looked in to this - all the private schools here (for the young'ns) are religious - and I want my son TAUGHT, not indoctrinated. When he is old enough for intermediate school, I will have a look at those options - Im not to keen on him boarding though, I went to boarding school and I detested it - but I'll ask him what he wants when he is old enough.

You've already given her more than my father ever gave me. Don't sell yourself short.
