Picking out gifts for any holiday is a pain in the ass. Easter is no exception. Yeah, candy and colorful little doodads for the kids but what, I've asked myself, should I get Mrs. Kol for her first Easter since her confirmation?

Luckily, I'm a guy. I don't "shop". If I see something that fits, I get it. Yesterday, a chocolate bunny solved my problems. When our eye's met, he said, "buy me". So, I did.

Actually it was his name that impressed me. To be more precise, his container did the trick. The rabbit doesn't know it yet but he's about to lose his home and be eaten by my children. I'll mourn him when they run around all doped up on sugar.

His name is "Peter B. Goode". I'll cut the hole in the bottom of his box once he's been evicted.

I wonder if she'll clobber me if I print my sig on the box...

Having a vague impression of what's going to happen, I don't wanna know.

One year later...

The rabbit is still intact in its box.

Shhh.... It's all about timing.

(edit: patience is a bonus)

watch out for that hole. Cardboard cuts are right up there with metal shavings under the skin. :D

Great. Just fucking great.

A year of planning and now ...

Paper cuts and metal under skin...

Maybe next year

Dunno. But I do know that if you leave chocolate in the freezer for an extended period of time, condensation with leach out the suger. It'll last a loooong time in the fridge as long as it's hidden behind some leftovers or something. The kids never touch the leftovers. :)
