Ok...
I have the opportunity to teach Conversational English in South Korea.
I can almost see the eyes collectivly opening wide.
Simple question, should I or shouldn't I?
The pay is rather well, $2500 to $3000 a month, with an apartment provided.
5 to 10 students per class.
With each and every student having at least 6 years of English. Thus they already know the language. I will be teaching them Conversational English. The vernaculer per se.
2 or 3 weeks paid vacation a year.
Airfare there and back provided.
I have the choice of the age group to teach, Kindergarden thru adults. And yes, I have chosen adults.
I have to sign a 1 year contract of service. If I like I can renew for another year till whenever I choose to leave. Or, if I don't want to renew, I come home and job hunt again.
I have reservations, but, this will definately pad my resume.
Give me yer thoughts people.
