RW, that sucks...I know how it is. Right now, I have about five cats living in my backyard that aren't mine. But I feed them. http://www.thehypertribe.net/ubb/smile.gif

Ah! I see.
Your ammo is being spent for a good purpose, RW. Save the skulls and put them atop fence posts. Kinkos can laminate signs announcing:

Animals Dumped Here
WILL BE Dealt With

I'm not joking.

I love pets. I love people who take care of their pets. I hate stray animals. I have a neighbor who insists on leaving food out for the stray cats in my neighborhood. The only problem is, she does it sporatically. The cats become dependant on her feeding them and don't learn how to support themselves. It's at this point when they congregate on my lawn, porch and hood of my truck. I hate paw prints on my vehicle.
It's time to go "Urban Panther Hunting."

You love your dog more than most people, what's your dog done to them?

RW - I imagine they make for good target practice, right? .....
No, I dont mean the dog. The person who ditches them. Bastards. I like dogs. Especially large, mean, scary ones. As long as they dont attack me http://www.thehypertribe.net/ubb/biggrin.gif

I can't fucking stand people who get pets, neglect them, and then ditch them. Pack of irresponsible tossers in my opinion. I only hope they never breed... christ only knows how they would handle the responsibility of being a parent.

Gather 'round, children. Uncle Kol has a story to tell.
Once upon a time, a great bear-hunter was wounded by the blast of his master's shotgun. Pellets stung his face, blinding his left eye and peppering his haunches. No one knows if the incident was accidental; not even the bear-hunter.
Wounded and blind in one eye, he ran from the pain but it followed him relentlessly.
Mrs. Kol approached me one day telling me that a dog had wandered onto the property of one of her co-workers. The animal was near starvation and was seen trying to climb a tree to get at some fungus growing there.
Mrs. Kol's friend took him in, nursed him to health and asked that we provide him with a good home. I was reluctant at first but my life always seems empty without a dog around.
"Has she given him a name", I asked.
"She just calls him 'RedDog'. His fur is red. She's trying to keep her distance."
"I get ya. Since his fur is red, what say we call him 'Rusty'?"
I was apprehensive at first. I'd had many pets. All were dead. But the chance to recreate the bonds I'd felt in the past overwhelmed me. As it turned out, Rusty was equally apprehensive. That first day together was an exploration of trust. Within a few hours, he was nuzzling my ear as if he had known me since birth.
Years went by. Rusty would ride with me and sing/howl when a song on the radio fit his fancy (I have video). His couch in the family room was reserved only for him. He ate well, danced with my newborn daughter, allowed her to ride his back and pull his ears, guarded our house and grounds relentlessly, and befriended the neighbors.
One day, we noticed a lump.
Several thousand dollars worth of treatment and surgery later, I decided to put my friend to rest. To date, the most difficult decision with which I've been faced.
I miss my friend.

Stop laughing, dammit!!!
I rigged him up like that to keep him from eating his sutures after the first operation. Taught the vet a thing or two as well http://www.thehypertribe.net/ubb/smile.gif
