a cow comes in to see a doctor, and she says she has a disease. does the doctor pull out a flame thrower and burn her? no. he gives her an advil, or maybe just tells her to relax and drink some tea.

Unless I might eat her. Then the doctor has my blessings.

Exactly, I saw something on the tele today about how they deal with Foot and Mouth in Asia, they use vaccines and test all meat at the slaughterhouse etc, etc,

The bonfires are not an option.

This disease is fucking up the six nations tournament by the way.

My girlfriend saw something on the tele two weeks before the outbreak about meat prices being too low, coincidence?

Our government has come up with a cunning plan. Instead of slaughtering the diseased animals, they're going to ship them to North Korea. The North Koreans agreed. After all you don't get picky when you're starving.
Sad.

Apparently the asians have a way to cook the meat that removes the foot and mouth taint.

The way I heard it, foot and mouth isn't dangerous to humans anyway. But I forgot whether or not they also wanted to ship BSE infected cattle.

Thanks. This place is all...red. I'm sure they'll all love me here...

LOL! I doubt that...

Do I have to make a "Hi, I'm new here"-topic as well? Probably not. Most of them already know me.
Ah, memories...

No, yet another "Hi! I'm new here!" thread would simply be too much.

Welcome aboard, Denominator. And pay no attention to skalie, he's a respected member of this Tribe. And if that doesn't scare you, I doubt if anything will. http://www.thehypertribe.net/ubb/wink.gif

By the way...would you mind explaining to me the significance of the Hammer and Sickle in your signature? If you're a Commie Pinko Bastard that's awright with me (I consider a fellow named Redguard to be one of the finest humans I will ever know and HE's a Commie Pinko Bastard) but I like to know who to watch out for. http://www.thehypertribe.net/ubb/biggrin.gif

Well, I guess I'm not really a communist. More like a disillusioned social democrat with growing apolitical tendencies.
As to my sig - I have a thing for commie symbols and I thought this one would fit in well with all that redness going on here.

I had to agree to not being a moron to post here. Coming from the SPF that's going to be difficult...
