Every Geek knows that "delete" doesn't. Does it make you feel uncomfortable to know that your monitor's display can be recreated? At a distance?

Keep a lookout for an article to be posted here:

The article should appear in the next few days.

Who knows? You probably won't be surprised to find out who does know.

I worked on a Navy base as a draftsman and machinist. I never heard the word "Tempest" but we were made aware of the radiation and secured areas did not allow parking of vehicles within I think 50 feet of the buildings. Partially for protection of data and also to guard against car bombs.

It is something everyone deals with in approved "Secure" buildings. I don't know how much of that goes on now.

Woof.
If it's so sick, why are you laughing?

Yeah. It's all a bunch of crap. Sorry I brought it up.

Stand down, Citizenz. All is well. Go back to your business.

False alarm.

TV = GOOD

This is actually very true, and it's isn't as new as you might think...because I read something like it a while (few years) back.

I don't think it works as well with the newer monitors, but supposively you could stick a tv beside a monitor, and you could get a vague image of what was on the monitor to appear on the tv...or maybe you ran the wires together...hell I don't know! Regardless of how you do it, they would still have to be within shooting distance for it to work!

If a simple man can detect a line-voltage change and infer that you opened your refrigerator door...

What was that rule of thumb again? Something about twenty years...
